The importance of play, and, er, christmas jumpers
I hope you are enjoying the holiday season. The Christmas parties are in full swing here in London - and after four in a row last week, I'm exhausted! Luckily it all gives me a good excuse to wear my Christmas jumper - check it out. Cool, ahem, yeah?
Three recommended links this week.
1) The importance of play - a powerful article in the Observer. Most of us only use around 15% of our intelligence day-to-day. The secret, apparently, is to have more fun. "Take your eye off the ball for a bit, go for a walk, see friends or simply play". (Or get yer Christmas jumper on.)
2) Belinda contacted me about her friend who had dreadful trouble sleeping. After reading my blog about caffeine, he decided to make the change, and cut out coffee/tea etc later in the day. This week, Belinda emailed me to tell me this:
"Just to let you know, it worked! After an initial glitch the first week while his body was adjusting, he now regularly gets 7-8 hours constant sleep. He now does not drink any caffeine after 10am. It's amazing! So thank-you so much! It was all down to your blog.."
That's fantastic - so pleased it helped. You might want to check out the caffeine blog today, and give yourself a little reminder that "Sleep is that golden chain that ties health and our bodies together".
3) In The Success Sanctuary this week: Happy Cows Give Good Milk. Fancy being a happy cow? Click on the milk carton and check in now... (oh and if you're not a member already you'll find our exclusive £1/$1 trial. Now that will make you a happy cow!
Enjoy your week, and get that Xmas jumper on...
